Last dinner

 

I always hate coming home from the beach, but it's always nice to have one last good seafood dinner. We ate a The Shrimp Boat & it was delicious, it's on the bay & we sat outside & had a great dinner. Katelyn was a little bit of a hand full that night but the food made up for her acting so bad. I can't wait to go back to the beach next year, we made so many memories on our trip & I look forward to making many more!!

This was the third day & Katelyn loved the sand & the "lotion" (ocean). She did pretty good on the beach everyday until it was nap time, thanks Mimi for taking her in for a nap. I am so glad my child finally loves the beach!

What a day! I don't think I will ever wear blue jeans on the beach again & run back & forth taking pictures. Pictures went ok, Katelyn didn't know which way to look & we were lucky if everyone was looking at the camera at the right time. Needless to say, she was over it pretty quick! It's very hard to be the photographer & run & get in the picture everytime, I think we will have to hire a photographer for pictures next year.

Spencer Family Beach Trip

 

 

 

We had a wonderful beach trip to Panama City with Brad's family this past week. We were there for five days & spent most of our time on the beach. The weather was beautiful & it only rained for a little while on our last day. Katelyn didn't like the sand again the first day but after that it was everywhere, in her hair, all over her body & in her bathing suit, & she didn't seem to mind. We look forward to going back again next year & want to thank Mimi & Papa for an amazing trip!

I can't believe in just 4 short months our baby will be 2!! Katie is 20 months old today & before too long I won't be able to refer to how many months she is anymore. I know it is silly to some people to say how many months old your child it instead of saying she is 1 1/2 or almost 2, but you only get to do it for a short period in their life! Katelyn is trying her best to put whole sentences together & when she does I just amazes me, how 1 year ago she was just learning to crawl & now she is hugging me, giving me a kiss & saying "love you mommy"! She truly is an amazing little girl & I love her more than I ever thought possible.

I took these pictures last night & she has recently become a camera hog. Every time I take a picture of an outfit I finish she stands right next to it & says "cheese mommy", I love it! We decided to play on the floor & I was trying to get her to pose for me & this is what I got. Of course I had to get a picture of her with all of her babies, these things drive me crazy some days, she has to have everyone of them on the couch, in the bed at night, & before she gets out of the bed in the morning. You should see me holding all of them, her blanket, pillow & her every morning! On the way home today I heard her making kissing noises & she was saying "love you baby" I looked back at her & she was kissing her baby doll. She is so sweet & hope she will be like that with her brother or sister one day. (no time soon!)

It's not much of one but I did get all of her hair up. She loved it & walked around saying "Ponytail" all afternoon.

We went to a friends house to watch the games Sat & Madelyn taught Katie some cheers & she loved doing them. Looks like we will have a little cheerleader in a few more years! It was also pretty funny to hear her say War Eagle while she was wearing her Alabama dress, we still need to work on the difference.
