Parties

 

 

We went to two birthday parties this weekend. My cousins little girl turned 2 on Saturday & Talan's party was Sunday. Katelyn didn't know what to think about all of the kids running around, I think she wanted to be down there with them. I can't wait until her birthday party next month, I know she is going to love her birthday cake, she got a little practice in this weekend.

Well, Katelyn did pretty good for pictures & she did just as I expected her to do. The deer in the headlights look. I knew she wouldn't smile but I still think it turned out just fine & at least she wasn't screaming! I took this picture, I don't have a scanner to put the picture they took but on here but the $18 5 x 7 doesn't look much different than this one.

Happy Birthday Gramps!

 

Today Katelyn and I met my dad "Gramps" at the Galleria. We had lunch & then had pictures made with Santa. I am so glad he was there to help keep her entertained. We really enjoyed spending the day with you & hope you had a great birthday. We love you very much!!

Every store we went to seemed to have cute or funny hats & we ended up trying some on in every store we went to. Katelyn was a good sport for most of them especially the spiked hat, I think it was her favorite. My dad & I got a good laugh!

11 months

Mommy, you're crazy!

 

At least that is what I think this facial expression means, she has been looking at me like this lately. This child has so many different faces but this one cracks me up. So silly!

Soooo Tired

 

I took these pictures over the last week & the first ones were one afternoon around nap time, I was on the couch & she was sitting next to me, before I new it I felt her lay down on my foot. I leaned over to look at her & she was asleep. She seems to be falling asleep in the most awkward positions lately. The bottom pictures are the other night, she was looking at the pictures on the computer, pointing & talking & she she got quiet all of the sudden, she was passed out again. It was so funny in person. I know how she felt because I have been that tired before.

Well we have finally gotten rid of the pacifier too, it has been about a week now & she has not had one at all! It was pretty tough the first few days, she was extremely fussy but we managed to not give in & give it to her. I'm so glad we did it now, I can't imagine trying to get her off any later than we did, especially once she started asking for it.
