Jaxson's Birthday

 

 

Saturday was Jaxson's 1st birthday & we had such a great time. He really enjoyed his cake & all of the kids had a great time at his party. It was so good to see all of our friends too, it seems like birthday parties are the only time we get together anymore.

Finally, some snow around here! We have only seen a few flurries in the last few months & it was exciting to see it sticking yesterday. Katelyn really wanted to go out as soon as it started but I told her we had to wait for it to get on the ground so we could build a snowman. Well that's all I heard until it was time to go out. "Mommy, I want to go outside, build a snowman!" I heard that over & over! Once we got out there it was almost impossible to get her back in to warm up. We went in & out a few times & finally daddy got home to play for a little bit. She had so much fun & was so excited, she jumped up & down, picked up snow & threw it & even ate a few bites. I enjoyed watching her but I am glad I don't have to dress her like that everyday to go outside!

We went to Reese & Charlie's house the other night for a little while & the kids got to play. Katelyn hasn't seen them since their birthday last November & before that, it was last summer. I'm glad to see they play so well together because we will see a lot of them this summer.

This picture was Katelyn before school last week but I had it on another camera & forgot about it. She was in a great mood & was excited about school for a change. I had to snap a few of her because I thought she looked so cute.

Jaxson's 1st Birthday

 

Saturday was my cousin's little boy Jaxson's first birthday. We had a great lunch & the cake & ice cream were delicious. I didn't realize how many of our friends/family had babies so close together last year. We are so thankful for all of them inviting us to be a part of the child's special day.

Ava's 1st Birthday

 

 

 

We went to Ava's birthday a little over a week ago & I'm just now getting around to posting pictures. She had a great birthday party & Katelyn as always enjoyed the cake! She is still having a hard time understanding why she can't open the presents & tells me, "mommy, that's Katie's presents". Ava was nice enough to let Katelyn help her open a couple of her presents so that made her day. We have been to several birthday parties & have a few more to go to so maybe she will get the hang of it before they are all over with. I also got a few pictures of Katelyn & Tate playing together, he was so funny trying to give her kisses.

Baby Update

I had my 2nd Dr. visit yesterday & everything was great. We finally got to hear the heartbeat & the heartrate was 155, & we scheduled our ultrasound for the next visit. Hopefully we will find out if this is a baby brother or sister for Katie on March 8th. She has been telling me she wants a baby sister lately & everyday she asks for a "Brother/Sister". She will say that then she starts telling me what a baby does, "crying, screaming, give it a bottle, change it's diaper, & poo poo". I can't wait to see her hold this baby & see how she acts when it's screaming!
