This little girl knows when the camera is on her! My mom says it's because she has had a camera in her face all of her life, this is true! She lights up & acts so silly when I take her picture, she is so cute & always knows how to make me smile!

Turtle family

 

I have seen these turtles the last few days & it was very hard to get this picture. They are very shy & anytime you open the door they jump in the water. Luckily I had a zoom lens & got this picture from the porch.

We finally turned Katie's exersaucer to a walker but she likes to crawl under it for some reason. I think it still makes her a little nervous because it moves everytime she pulls up on it. I don't think it will be long & she will be pushing it all over the house. She also has her 2nd tooth. It broke through last week.

Pottery Party

 

 

 

We had a Pottery Party at Tammy's Friday night & it was so much fun. We got some really great pieces & I can't wait to see what the finished products look like. I wish I could have done every piece there!

My New Job!!!!

 

The last two weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. I turned in my notice at work & have taken Katelyn out of daycare. Most people say if they had to opportunity to quit work they would hit the door running. I have been sad to leave, but also extremely happy about my new job as a stay at home mom. These are the peopole I have spent the last 8 years of my life with & they are a huge part of my life. I am going to miss them very much & the friendships I have built with each one of them. They have made it hard to leave because they have been telling me how much they are going to miss me for the last two weeks. I know I will go back to visit soon, but I will also miss seeing them everyday.
I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay home with our little girl. I never thought I would get to do this or want to be a full time mom. I am so thankful to have such a supportive husband to make this possible for me. I know in my heart this is the right decision for our family. I am so happy that I will get to be with her everyday & I won't be missing out on everything she does anymore!

I took these pictures last weekend. We went to Rowdy & Cristal's to watch the Auburn game & I had to get pictures of Katie in her new outfits. Her daddy bought her the Bama t-shirt & I got her the Auburn outfit. One day she will get to decide who to pull for but for now we both get dress her for our favorite team.
