First Trip to the Zoo

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Friday, Lynn & I took Katelyn & John Thomas to the zoo. I knew Katelyn would love it because she know all of the animals that would be there. She tries her best to say what each animal is but if she can't get it she definitely knows the sounds they make. I know they both had a great time & we look forward to going again, I just hope it isn't so cold next time!

Busy Weekend

 

Katelyn spent the afternoon on Saturday with Gramps, Gigi, & Jennifer & they took my camera to bring me back some pictures. I sounds like they all had a big time & I know Katelyn did!!

 

Yesterday morning Brad went outside to wash the cars so I took Katelyn & her baby doll outside to play for a little while. She had so much fun strolling her baby up & down the driveway & playing with Sadie. I'm so glad she likes to be outside because we spend a lot of time outdoors around here in the summer.

 

We also went to John Thomas' 1st Birthday party & it was a great party. John Thomas got some great gifts & he had so many friends there to play with. Katelyn didn't want anyone else to play with the car & tried to stay in it the whole party. Looks like the Easter bunny needs to bring her one too. Happy Birthday John Thomas!

Mother-Daughter Day

Yesterday my friend Dana & I went to Botanical Gardens to take some pictures. It was such a beautiful day to be outside & we had so much fun spending the day together & with our daughters. These are just a couple of my favorites of Katie & I that I had to post but I have a lot more of the girls together that I am going to edit & put on here later. Dana you did a great job taking pictures yesterday, I guess that photography class did help!

Today I went to a friends house to practice with my new studio light & I also snapped a few pictures of Katelyn. If I would have thought about it I would have put something on her instead of her Walmart outfit & something that matched the background, but I think they turned out cute anyway. Of course, I think every picture of her is cute but what mother doesn't like all of the pictures of their child!?!

Katelyn has really been interested in the spoon lately & I decided to give it to her, mess or not & she actually did good. With some help she was scooping applesauce & it was making it into her mouth. I am so proud of her & with a little more practice she will be doing it all by herself.
