Katelyn's first vacation

This was our last night at the beach & we ate at one of our favorite oyster bars & probably had the best meal of our vacation. I am never ready to come home from the beach & this year it went by way to fast. I am so thankful to my husband for working so hard to make it possible for us to go on a family vacation. We had a great trip & made so many memories & I am looking forward to making many more with my family!

Last day at the beach

I think Katelyn had enough by the last day, I filled her sand bucket with water & she played in that for a while. We finally made it to the pool the last day & that is where we should have been the whole time. We now know what all we need for our next beach trip & that includes a baby pool on the beach!

Family Pictures

This was a last minute decision for pictures, we made it back from dinner right at sunset so I said let's get out there & get it over with. I was dreading it because I knew Katelyn wouldn't do good & I know how Brad is about having his picture made. On top of this I had to set up a tripod & run back & forth to set the camera & it was still about 100 degrees. Anyway, I think they turned out pretty good even though Katelyn looks so happy to have her picture made. She started cutting another molar on our trip & wasn't feeling to good during these pictures.

2nd day at the beach

Katelyn still didn't like the sand but I was able to get her to stand on the wet sand long enough to get a picture. She actually loved the ocean & the waves & could have stayed out there all day.

Dancing the night away

We had dinner at Pier Park the first night & stopped to listen to some music on the way back to the car. Katie was attracting the most attention on the sidewalk where she was dancing. I think she danced through a few songs & everyone that walked by had to stop & see her. She is so silly, I couldn't stop laughing at her, it was one of the highlights of the trip.
