Happy Birthday Rebecca!

 

 

Today is my sister's birthday & we celebrated it last night at my dad's house. We enjoyed getting together with family, eating dinner & having ice cream cake for dessert. Happy Birthday Rebecca, we love you!

I was trying to take a few pictures the other day & look who had to have her picture made! She did good putting her glasses on all by herself, don't you think?

Mother's Day Out

 

 

Last Friday Katelyn started MDO & did so good & I only cried once, well maybe twice. I didn't really get to enjoy my time away from her because I didn't want to go far just in case I needed to get her pretty quick. So I killed four hours not getting too far from the church & counted down time until I could go back & get her. It's funny how you need a break so bad sometimes & when you finally have someone to watch them all you can do is wait to go get them! I hope she continues to do good, I really think she is going to like having the other kids to play with once a week.

Oh, & I just snapped these pictures on our way out the door so they weren't very good but at least I remembered to do it, I don't know why she stuck her lip out like that, she was in a good mood.

First trip to McWane

 

 

 

 

We went with Gramps to McWane Center Wednesday & had the best time. Katelyn & I had never been so there was a lot for both of us to take in. I think we were there around 4 hours but we also watched the Imax movie "Under the Sea". Katelyn did suprisingly well through the movie, she got a little scared at the beginning but about half way through she was sitting in her chair eating popcorn & Reese's pieces. We really enjoyed spending the day with Gramps & wish he had vacation more often!

Fun Times @ Flora-Bama

 

 

The weather wasn't so pretty Saturday so it was a good thing we had already decided to head to the Flora-Bama. As you can tell we had a great time drinking bushwackers, playing ring toss & leaving our mark. We got some great group pictures while we were there thanks to the props they had set up! The guys weren't very interested but they were good sports. Again, we had a great trip & looking back at these pictures makes me wish I was still there!

Beach Trip!

 

We went to Ft. Morgan this past weekend with Josh, Heather, Lynn & Scott & had a much needed "Adults Only" trip. Brad & I haven't really been away from Katelyn since we went to New Orleans last year so it was past time! Thanks Josh & Heather for inviting us to stay with you, we had so much fun & can't wait to do it again!!!
