Happy Birthday Daddy!

 

We also celebrated Brad's birthday Saturday at the lake. Katelyn was so excited about it being her daddy's birthday & eating cake. We sang Happy Birthday & we had a flash back of her birthday, she put her head on the table because she was embarrassed. Luckily she didn't cry this time! Katelyn, Aiden, & Austin all blew out the candles for Brad. I hope you had a great birthday even if you were working, we love you very much!

We went to Lake Martin this past weekend & had such a great time. We tagged along with Brad to the Hughes lake house, he had some work to do down there & we enjoyed the nice weather. Katelyn had so much fun playing with the boys, she went fishing & played in the dirt all day. All of the kids were great & they played so well with each other. Katelyn & Aiden played with the fishing poles most of the day & Austin was helping the guys work. Thanks for inviting us to spend the weekend with you & hopefully we can do it again when the weather finally decides to stay warm.

We're having a BOY!!

 

We were so excited to find out we were having a baby boy yesterday. Brad & I both thought we were going to have another girl & we pretty suprised to find out that it was a boy. Katelyn wasn't too sure about the whole ultrasound experience & she cried a little & was fine after her daddy took her out of the room. She was so cute calling her grandparents to tell them she was going to have a little brother. Before we left the hospital she said "mommy let's go get brother", I guess she thought they would tell us what we were getting & then we would get to go pick it up.

I tried to scan the pictures they gave me from the ultrasound but something is wrong with my scanner & as soon as I figure it out I will post them. Here is my first belly shot of this pregnancy I am 17 weeks & 4 days in this picture.

I know I have been a terrible blogger lately but not much has been going on & I have felt so bad on & off with this pregnancy. Two weeks ago I had a cold that lasted almost an entire week & then felt better the week after that. This past week I have had a headache almost everyday. I just have to take it day to day & hope I don't wake up feeling bad. We find out tomorrow what this baby is going to be & I can't wait. Katelyn is going with us & I hope she does good & doesn't get upset when they touch me to do the ultrasound, she is very protective of her mommy. I have been trying to prepare her for what she can expect & I just hope it goes well. I will update everyone after my appointment tomorrow. Katelyn & I went to visit Dana, Braelyn & Maddox last week. It was the first time I got to see Maddox because I was sick when he was born. He is so cute & looks just like his big sister did when she was little. Katelyn & Braelyn had so much fun playing together & I think they giggled the whole time we were there. Katelyn was so cute with Maddox & wanted to do everything, I know she is going to be a great big sister & I can't wait to see her with our baby.
