I'm So Proud!

 

 

 

 

My little sister graduated from Hoover High School on Wednesday & I couldn't be more proud! She is so special to me & I want her to know how much I love her. She has been through a lot over the years & this a huge accomplishment in her life. It means so much to me that I got to see her get her diploma. She is also going to attend Jeff State in the fall & I know she has a bright future ahead of her. Rebecca, I love you & congratulations, again!

First Night without Daddy!

Last night Katie & I spent the night at Mimi & Papa's house, we had heard the weather may get bad so we planned on staying there while Brad was gone. He is gone to the beach for a few days with the guys & this is our first time without him since Katie has been here. We already miss him very much & are looking forward to him getting home soon. We really enjoyed being with Mimi & Papa last night & today but are looking forward to sleeping in our on beds.

Mother's Day Weekend

I had the best Mother's Day! we met Scott, Lynn, & John Thomas for dinner Saturday night & spent the whole day on Sunday with Katie & Brad shopping & ending with dinner. I couldn't ask for a better day, just to spend it with them.

4 month Check-up

Katelyn's 4 month check up was today & these pictures are from when we got home, she was in a suprisingly good mood. I can't believe it because today we found out that she has a DOUBLE ear infection. She also had 4 shots, talk about a fun day! I think she did great for all she went through today & I even got her to smile & giggle when we got home. I knew she hasn't felt good the last two days but I thought it was because she was teething & all of the symptoms pointed to that. I think she may have even done better with the shots this time, she only cried for a minute or two & then she was pretty calm. She now weighs 15 lbs. 6 oz. & is 25" long. I hope she gets rid of these ear infections soon, because I can't stand to see her in pain! I just hope she doesn't have to many more of these, I don't want her to end up with tubes!

Another favorite!

I have so many favorite pictures of Katelyn, but this is the most recent. I took this at Botanical Gardens Saturday, I made some changes to it & thought it turned out good. I have no idea where I will put all of these pictures of her, but I'm sure I can come up with something.

Katelyn has also started the process of cutting teeth over the last week. I can see two white spots on the bottom & she has had a higher temp on & off over the last 2 weeks. She has been in an overall good mood but today she started pulling at her ear & has been a little more irritable this evening. We go for her 4 month check up on Tuesday & we have 4 more shots to get & since she is cutting teeth too, I am really not looking forward to this visit, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

A Beautiful Sunday

Today while Brad did yard work, Amanda, Katelyn & I sat out in the front yard & enjoyed the beautiful day. Katelyn really loves to be outside & I'm so glad because Brad & I seem to live outside during the summer. I look forward to so many more days like today with my family.
