TIme for Tubes

 

 

Well it is definitely time for tubes. We had our consultation yesterday & her ears are infected again. This makes 5, but I don't think the last one ever really got cleared up. The Dr. has scheduled us for Monday morning. I get this sick feeling in my gut every time I think about them putting Katie to sleep. That is the hardest part for me. I know she will be fine but please keep her in your prayers. These pictures were of her being such a big girl in the chair, she sat there while the Dr. looked in both her ears & didn't even make a sound. I think she just like the attention.

Another month has gone by & our little girl gets bigger & more beautiful each day. She amazes me at everything she does & she has the greatest personality, she is always smiling!! Katie is around 20 lbs. & 29" now & very HEAVY!

Of course I am the one who put this outfit on Katie & daddy wasn't to happy about when he came home. He told me to take it off of her. I told him she can wear an Alabama outfit if he or someone else buys it but I am only buying Auburn. So I am sure she will have a few outfit changes this season, but I think orange and blue look so good on her!

Katelyn stayed at Gramps & GiGi's house Saturday for the first time over night, while we went to the reunion. My sister Rebecca got my dad singing to her on video & I think it may be one of the sweetest things I have ever seen!

Some of these were taken yesterday at a friend's birthday party at the park. I got most of thess sitting in the car when we were trying to cool off. Katelyn is really starting to pull herself up & is doing great at standing while holding on to something. She has been teasing us with the crawling for the last few weeks, she can scoot backwards, but still hasn't figured out how to go forward. I guess I should enjoy it while I still can!

Also, another Dr. update. We went last week due to another ear infection. This will be #4 in 4 months so we are going to see the ENT about tubes on Aug. 14. I know it is a pretty common procedure these days but it still scares me having anything done to my baby! I will let everyone know when the schedule the tubes after our consultation next week. Oh, & Katelyn weighs a whopping 20 lbs. too, she is a healthy little girl.

10 Year Reunion

 

 

Saturday night was my 10-year reunion & I had such a great time. It was so good to see everyone & catch up on the last 10 years. Hopefully I won't be as bad keeping in touch with some of them for the next 10.
