A little practice....

 

Katelyn has really been interested in the spoon lately & I decided to give it to her, mess or not & she actually did good. With some help she was scooping applesauce & it was making it into her mouth. I am so proud of her & with a little more practice she will be doing it all by herself.

Spending time with Papa & Gramps

 

 

Saturday we went to Mimi & Papa's house to celebrate Papa's birthday. We had a great steak dinner & of course Katelyn was the center of attention. Notice the chair she is sitting in that was her daddy's when he was little, she loves sitting & carrying it around the house. Happy Birthday Papa!!

Then on Sunday we had dinner at Granny's & Katelyn had a ball playing with Gramps, she definitely kept him on his toes. I had to dress Katelyn up for both days in the outfits I made her, she wasn't to sure about the ruffle on her pants but I guess this is something she will have to get use to now that I know how to make them!

Here are a few pictures from the last week. Katelyn loves to be outside on the porch with Sadie she just goes back and forth from one end to the other & Sadie follows her around, she get so tickled & giggles when she get licked right in the face, yuk! She has also figured out how to push her baby stroller all over the house & strolls "Molly" everywhere. She has never really shown interest in hats until the last couple of weeks, she will bring me one to put on her then she will walk in her room & look in the mirror at herself.

We celebrated Madelyn's 6th birthday on Saturday at Jump Zone. Katelyn had such a good time she loved the slides but wasn't crazy about jumping. I had fun too, I took her down the big slide & she didn't even cry so Brad & I took her down it again. Madelyn had a great party & got so many great gifts. I can't believe she is six, time goes by way to fast. Happy Birthday Madelyn we love you very much!!

We went to dinner tonight to celebrate Mimi's birthday at Johnny Carino's. Our dinner was very good & we had a great time. Katelyn was so silly & very entertaining as usual. Mimi we hope you had a wonderful birthday & we look forward to celebrating Papa's birthday next weekend!!

Katie's 1st Snow!!

 

 

I don't think she really knew what to think about the snow, as soon as I put her down she started walking towards the water. I think I am ready for a fence around the yard!! She fell down a few times & was soaking wet & that was enough for me. Brad had to work today or we probably would have played in it a little more. Of all Sunday's to work this had to be the one! We hate he missed it & I hate we didn't get any pictures with her but at least I got a few of her & she looked so cute all bundled up!
