Counting down the days!

 

Tomorrow will be 30 days to go! I made this countdown for Katelyn a while back I think I started with 50 days to go & everyday she will pull one ring off. I'm so glad we are in the last month because I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable, having a summer pregnancy is definitely worse than a winter baby!! It hasn't really bothered me until the last couple of weeks because of the heat. We made our last trip to Al. Adventure Friday, I just don't think I can waddle in & out of that place one more time, it's too HOT! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Will may come a little early, that would be GREAT!!

Here is a picture of Katelyn with her countdown rings & the wreath I made for the door at the hospital. I go back to the Dr. 1 week from today & hopefully I will know if anything has started :)

Braelyn's 2nd Birthday

 

After Emma's party we headed to Braelyn's birthday, it was much cooler for the kids but not the adults. There was a huge waterslide the kids played on. Katelyn didn't care too much for it & I think it was because there were so many kids on it. I sat out there as long as I could then we headed in the house where everyone eventually ended up. We had hotdogs, cake & ice cream & watched Braelyn open all of her gifts. She had so many presents to open! Katelyn kept asking me to play with each gift Braelyn opened! After the party was over we headed home & were all exhausted from the heat, we just couldn't do another party! We hope Emma & Braelyn both had a great birthday & thank you so much for inviting us!

Emma' 2nd Birthday

 

We were invited to 3 birthday parties this past Saturday & went to two of them. We started at Emma's 2ND birthday, the kids played with water guns & in the sand box & that was followed by cupcakes & Popsicles. Katelyn had so much fun getting soaked & squirting everyone. It felt pretty good to get squirted because it was unbearably hot! Luckily the party wasn't too far from our house so we ran home to change before the next party.

34 Weeks

 

It's getting closer, finally!! I hope this little boy comes early like his big sister, she came at 37 1/2 weeks & if he came then I would only have 2 1/2 more weeks. I can't get my hopes up for that but it sure would be nice for him to come a little early. I have been extremely tired the last few days & the swelling was really bad last weekend. I will try to take it easy over the next few weeks & get plenty of rest, when that's possible. I go to the Dr. tomorrow & will start going every week after this week. I'm trying to keep my progress up to date & take as many pictures as I can these last few weeks.

We had a great 4th this year, on Saturday we went to the other side of the river & spent the day with our friends Josh & Heather. Josh cooked some great ribs & we had homemade ice cream for dessert (something I have been craving for a few months now). Katelyn enjoyed riding the golf cart & everytime I turned around she had someone riding her around on it.

On Sunday we had Mimi, Papa, Amanda, Gramps, Gigi & Jennifer at our house for lunch. The food was great & the company even better! Gigi brought Katelyn some playdoh & that's all she wanted to play with the rest of the day. Gramps bought some fireworks & we shot a few during the day & the rest later that night. There was also a hula hoop that showed up & I got asked several times if I could do it, really!?! Does it look like I can hula hoop with a basketball on my stomach? It was pretty funny watching everyone try it out especially my dad! We had a wonderful day & I love spending time with our families.

Baby Shower

 

I don't know who kept giving her cookies but everytime I looked up she was eating one.

 

 

Last Sunday was the baby shower for Will, we had a great turnout & he got so many presents. I still don't know where we are going to put everything but I know we need it all. Thank you to everyone who helped & came to the baby shower, I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends & family who care about me & my family so much. A special thank yout to Gigi for having it at her house, it was hot & crowded but everything turned out perfect. We can't wait to meet this little boy & for all of you to meet him as well, he will be here in just a few more weeks & we are counting down the days!

A Day at the Lake

 

We had our last trip to the lake last week with Tammy. Katelyn had so much fun riding the waverunner & playing in the water. I was a nervous wreck with her around the water because it was so deep & it was the first time she had been in water she couldn't touch in this year. I have to say thank you to Tammy for helping me out that day it was hard getting a 2 year old in & out of the water & being 8 months pregnant. We are going to miss the lake house & all of the memories we have made over the last few summers! Thanks for having us for the day!
