Little Cutie!
I had to take a few pictures of Katelyn today before we went shopping, I thought she looked so cute! She even posed a little for me.
Outfit Change
In a house divided Katie had to pull for both teams so I had to change her outfit at halftime & try to change our luck but it didn't help. Daddy was a good sport about me changing her, I guess because he didn't have anything to worry about.
Alabama/Auburn Game
We watched the game at our house this weekend & it was pretty quiet. There were more Auburn fans than Alabama fans here & as you can imagine there wasn't much we could say. The tigers looked pitful! Maybe next year.
I had to get this picture with Tammy even though she didn't want it made. The last picture was from AL/AU game last year & now the rolls are reversed! It won't be long & that little boy will be all over the place just like Katelyn! Anyway, I thought it was cute & something we could look back on.
First Thanksgiving
We went to my grandmothers first & Katie got to try out all of the good food. She just had samples because she had to eat before we got there but she really seemed to like everything even the turkey. Then we went to Mimi & Papa's to visit. We had a great Thanksgiving this year & I know every year will be even better!

This is my favorite, for now...
Ok, I know every month I have a new picture of Katelyn that is my favorite but this has been it for a few months now. I haven't posted it before now because I thought I was going to use it for Christmas cards but decided on another. I took this at the studio Christmas session & it was one of the first pictures I edited on my own. I think it turned out perfect! Katelyn likes it too, she looks at it & says "ba" which means baby.
A Special Day!
Yesterday, Katie & I went to my Granny's house to help her prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. This is something I have been wanting to do for so many years now but I have always had to work the day before Thanksgiving. I have wanted to learn how to make her dressing & yesterday was the perfect day to do it! She makes the best dressing & so far I haven't found anything to compare to hers. We had such a great day & I know she enjoyed visiting with us & the help. I haven't made the dressing yet but I can't wait to attempt it, I know it will be a long time before I can get it to taste as good as hers. As you can see in the pictures Katie decided she wanted to help too. I have to say that was one of the best days I have had in a long time, it meant so much to me to spend the day with her! I am very thankful she's still around to teach me her recipes.

Good Morning!
I love to wake up to this sweet little face every morning. She is so silly & to see her hair all over the place like this cracks me up. I'm glad she finally has enough to do this now, I was beginning to wonder. This morning she had to get into her walker, she was lifting her leg up like she was going to crawl in it. I put her in it & the first thing she started to do was bang on the part that plays music & she kept on for about 5-10 min. (it's either take her away from it & she screams or let her do it) For those of you who don't know we have been trying to be quiet because daddy is on night shift. It is impossible to be quite with a 10 month old so poor daddy has been running on empty lately & I know this didn't help this morning.

Katie's Tree
I decorated Katie's tree today, I usually don't decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving but it was so cute I had to. Katelyn smiles everytime she sees it, she hasn't quite figured it out but she knows it's pretty. I can't wait to put up our tree Friday, I have been looking forward to this Christmas for a long time now.
Pottery
Here is the finished product from the pottery party we had & I love both of these so much. The ornament has Katelyn's toe prints for the Christmas tree & her pinky toe prints for the present. I don't know that I will ever hang it on the tree, I'm too scared something would happen to it. I can't wait to do it again!

10 Months
I can't believe in two months I will have a one year old!! Katie is still crawling & she can make her way around the house holding on to everything, but still not walking & I'm not rushing it! She can say momma, bye-bye (and wave), play pat-a-cake & when you ask her where the dog is she makes a barking noise. She loves to point at everything & everyone especially when she sees pictures of herself. She knows who daddy is & will say it every now & then but when we try to get her to say it she usually says momma. Everyday there is something new!
Book Worm
We were only gone a day & a half & look what Katie is doing, Reading!! I wish, then we would probably be rich! I looked back there yesterday & she was playing peek-a-boo with her book & checking out the pictures.
My first Auburn game
We went to Auburn's Homecoming this weekend with RJ, Jennifer, the boys & Scott & Lynn. Thanks for having us, we had a great time & hope to do it again next year.
Gramps & Katie
I took this at my grandmothers a few Sunday's ago & Katie loves her Gramps. It so funny to watch her point everyones pictures out on our computer & realize that she is recognizes everyone now. I love this picture!!

So many expressions
I know I have posted pictures of Katie's many faces before, but I had to do it again. I was looking at all of the pictures yesterday & I couldn't get over how many expressions I managed to get. Sometimes I wonder what she is thinking when she makes all of these faces.
Future Model
It was so pretty yesterday I took Katie outside & we took a few pictures. Katie just won't look at me when I am trying to get her attention anymore, but I got luck & got two really cute ones of her smiling. I also had her model her two new outfits I bought for her. Brenda Irvin made them & her blog is listed on mine as Personally Yours if anyone wants to check her things out. She did such a great job & they looked so cute on her.
