Alabama Adventure
My sister & I took Katelyn to Alabama Adventure yesterday for the first time. Katelyn really liked it, but the water was still pretty cold. There were kids running around there with blue lips! We have season passes this year so I'm sure we will be there at least once a week for the rest of the summer. Hopefully we can meet up with some of our friends soon so Katelyn will have someone to play with!
You can also see we didn't make it far before she was out & of course when we got home she was wide open again. We are going to have to leave a little early next time so she can get a full nap in!
Pretty Toes
I finally painted Katie's toes the other day & she loves them! She woke up the next morning & just looked at them & kept saying "toes". It was so cute, looks like I'm going to have to keep them paited from now on! She is such a girly girl.

So Messy
This little girl is so messy, she was eating ravioli's today & this is what it looked like when she was finished. I had to get a quick picture before I scrubbed her down!
Chicken!
The only chicken in this picture is Katelyn, she is sooooo scared of anything that moves these days. Brad caught this lizard yesterday & she had to stay back a few feet. Anytime he would put it toward her her to touch she would cringe & run away. If she even thinks she saw something move on the ground she says "Bee" that is her word for all bugs. She is so funny & it is amazing to me how they just know to be scared of somethings.
Katelyn & John Thomas
We had several people over Sunday & had a great time. Katelyn & John Thomas had fun playing in the pool & with each other. We are looking forward to spending time with John Thomas & Lynn this summer!

Latest Project
Here is the last outfit I made, I made it several weeks ago & just haven't taken a picture of Katelyn in it. It's still a little big but hopefully she will be able to wear it in a few more weeks. The second picture is out of focus but I had to share, this is what Katelyn does when I take her picture now, she is saying cheese. She only does it for a second though & it is hard to catch it at the right time. I hope she doesn't make this face in all her pictures from now on, but it's cute for now. My next project will be to make something for a boy, I have too many friends that have boys so I need to get busy on that!
Going, Going, Gone!
I gave Katelyn her first popsicle yesterday, she has had one before but this is the first one I have watched her eat. She LOVED it! The funniest thing was hearing her say "popsicle", it was PRICELESS!

2nd Mother's Day & 16 months
I had a great Mother's Day today, Brad & Katelyn gave me a gift certificate to a spa (which I can't wait to use) & we had a great lunch with Mimi, Nanny & Amanda. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful, sweet, & loving little girl for a daughter & I am so proud to be her mommy!! Katelyn is also 16 months today & I can't believe it, she is growing so fast & I just wish she could stay this way forever, with the exception of cutting teeth. She is so much fun right now & she is really a talker. She will try to say everything, we say & it is so funny to hear her version of it. I am so thankful I get to spend this time with my little girl & I cherish everyday.
Happy Birthday Lynn!
Friday night we went out to celebrate Lynn's birthday. We had such a great time, it has been so long since Brad & I have gotten a babysitter to go out & have a good time with our friends. Lynn, I hope you had a great birthday & I'm so glad we were there to share it with you!
New Boots
I bought Katelyn these rain boots last week & I don't think she has taken them off. She is always bringing them to me & says "boots". She looks so cute wearing them around the house in her pajamas, too bad I didn't have a picture of that!

Congratulations Adam & Andie!!
Friday night we went to my cousin Adam's wedding. The wedding & reception were beautiful. Katelyn really enjoyed watching the band play & was even dancing a little. We didn't get to stay long, Katelyn didn't have a great nap that day & was ready to go. Adam & I were very close growing up & I am so happy to see that he has found someone to spend the rest of his life with. I also love this picture, this is Katelyn with her Great Great Uncle Andy. This is my grandmother's brother & I am so glad I got a picture of them together. I just wish I had one of her & my grandmother to go with it!
Still working on it...
Katelyn somewhat knows how to use a spoon & fork & definitely knows the difference in the two. When it comes to yogurt or applesauce she starts out using the spoon & then ends up using her fingers to scoop it out & shovel it in. I know she just thinks way is more fun, plus I think she likes seeing me have to clean it up.
