32 Weeks

 

 

I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by, I'm sure a lot of it has to do with Katelyn keeping me so busy. So far everything is going well with this pregnancy & I can finally see in pictures how much I am swelling, yuk!

We finally have a name for this little boy: William Bradley Spencer & we will call him Will. William was actually Brad's great grandfather's name & they also called him Will. He is just as active as his big sister was & if I had to bet he may be a little longer than her. We can't wait to meet this little boy & we get more excited with each passing week. I can tell Katelyn is getting anxious & ready to take care of her little brother, we will see how long that lasts! I go for another Dr. visit this week & keep my fingers crossed every week that everything is normal. My baby shower is this weekend so I'm sure I will have lots of pictures to post.

Father's Day

 

 

 

We started Father's day with lunch with Gramps & then went to visit Papa. I have to say that Katelyn & I are so lucky to have such wonderful father's in our lives. To my dad you are an amazing person who I love very much & I am so proud to be your daughter. To my husband thank you for being such an wonderful father to our little girl, we both love you so much & I hope our little boy can grow up to be the man & father you are! To Papa, thank you for being such a great dad to your son it has definitely made him the amazing father he is. We love each one of you very much & hope you had a great Father's day.

Scarlett's 1st Birthday

 

Katelyn & I were invited to Scarlett's birthday party this past Saturday. Scarlett looked so precious in her birthday outfits & her party was decorated so cute! Katelyn enjoyed getting to play with her friends Reese & Charlie even though we had to finish the party inside due to a thunderstorm. I'm so glad we were able to be part of this sweet little girls special day!

Alabama Adventure

 

We finally made it to Alabama Adventure on Tuesday. I was completely exhausted by the end of the day. Katelyn didn't seem to remember going there last year so it was like a whole new experience for her. She could not sit still & wanted to go from one area to the next, we did a lot of walking! I'm hoping she will find something that she really likes when we go back & not want to leave that area. I'm sure we have a lot more pictures from there in the next few weeks, we are going to try & go as much as I can before the baby gets here.

I had to post this picture of Katelyn after she had a bath the other night. Everyone always asks how long her hair is when I'm washing it, well I've never really payed too much attention until the other night. I can't believe how long it is!! She has never had a haircut, which she does need at least a trim. Her hair is so curly right now because of the humidity that sometimes it barely touches her shoulders. She gets compliments on her curls everywhere we go & I get asked where she gets her curly hair from, it has to be my sister or her great-grandmother, they are the only two I know with hair that curly. I'm waiting for someone to ask if she's really my kid because she doesn't look anything like me, but thank goodness that hasn't happened yet. I hope it stays curly & as quick as it curls up when it's drying I don't think it's going anywhere. One day when I can get her to be still I will attempt to use my flat iron on it.

30 Weeks

 

This is the best picture I have @ 30 weeks. My camera battery was about dead so I told Brad to hurry & take a picture while I was thinking about it. I look huge & this is a horrible picture but I needed something to look back at, right? I will try & get more pictures over the next few weeks of my growing belly since I won't be pregnant too much longer. I really haven't done as well with pictures as I did with Katelyn, it really is different with your 2nd! I have been feeling pretty good this last week & finally getting rid of this cold I have had for the last 3 weeks. I have been pretty tired which is normal & this little boy likes to kick me as much as he can. I go back to the Dr. today & have now started going every 2 weeks. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by on one hand I'm ready for it to be over & to meet him & on the other I want it to slow down a bit because this is the last time I will be pregnant.

We finally got Katelyn's pool out yesterday & she had so much fun! She played in it for a few hours & then we had a picinic in the front yard. It was a beautiful, but hot day to be outside & I had so much fun watching her splash around & pour the water out of the pool.

Memorial Day / Katie's first boat ride

 

 

 

 

 

We had a great Memorial Day even though we were all still trying to get over this cold we have had over a week now. Josh & Heather came over Sunday & we ate some great food. They invited us to their place on Monday & the weather was pretty enough to get out on the boat for a little while. This was Katelyn's first time on a boat, I know pretty sad considering we live on the river! She loved it, she just sat there at first & took it all in but after a few minutes she was going from the front to the back of the boat the rest of the time. We had a great weekend & love getting to spend with our friends!
