Sweet Baby boy!
Will is the sweetest little boy he smiles all the time now & I'm still waiting for him to give me a little chuckle, it won't be long! He will be 2 months old this Saturday & I really can't believe how fast these last 2 months have flown by! He still isn't sleeping through the night but is very close he usually goes to bed around 8-9 & wakes up at 3:30 on the dot everynight & goes right back to sleep & will sleep until 7:30-8:00. He still eats every 3 hours during the day but is starting to get into a little routine with naps during the day! He will have his check up next week & we will see how much more weight he has gained. It will also be time for shots & that is always something I dread! I will give an update on that later.
What a week...
I have had a hell of a week this past week! Last Wednesday I started having a horrible pain in my left lower back & eventually resulted in a trip to the ER Thursday night. I had no idea what was wrong with me, I felt like I was about to die. After a CAT scan I was told I had 2 kidney stones that were blocking the exit of my kidney which resulted in fluid backing up behind them & the excruciating pain I was having. I was told to see the urologist on Friday a.m. & was sent home with pain medication. The next morning the Dr. told me they would have to be removed because I couldn't pass them on my own & I was told it wouldn't be done until the following Thursday!!!! I thought the pain medication I had to take every 4 hours may keep me comfortable until then but I ended up back in the ER Sunday night. They ended up admitting me & I had surgery to remove them Monday afternoon, I felt better as soon as I woke up. If you have never had kidney stones I seriously hope you NEVER have them, it was much worse than child birth if that tells you anything. I hope they don't come back but I was also told once you have them there is a very good chance you will have them again! I have to give a lot of thanks to my husband for taking care of me & our two kids for those 4-5 days & running back & forth to the hospital with me I know he was exhausted!! I'm very thankful to have him & he really is a wonderful husband & I love him very much!

Watching the game @ the river
Saturday we went to the other side of the river to watch the game. It was extremely HOT & we only stayed a few hours but it was the perfect set up to watch the game! If we had planned it better we could have really enjoyed some adult time but we had fun with the kids anyway. It was so good to spend a little time with our friends & hopefully next time we can stay a little longer! We got to watch a little of the Alabama game & made it home just in time to watch Auburn. I love this time of year & can't wait for it to finally cool off a little!

1 month check up
Will had his 1 month (5 weeks) check up yesterday & is doing great! He weighed 10lbs. 3oz.(50 percentile) & was 22 1/4" long (75th percentile) looks like he is on the same track as his big sister & is going to be tall! He has been smiling for about a week now & can follow your voice & movements. He is so sweet & I love it so much when he smiles at me & I like it even more when he smiles at his big sister. I saw that for the first time the other day & it made my day! We managed to get out of there with no shots this time but next month is going to be bad & I dread anytime my babies have to have a shot, it breaks my heart. I'm so lucky to have 2 healthy children & thank God everyday for putting them in my life!
Will's first visit with Grandma
We went to Tuscaloosa last Sunday to visit Grandma Spencer for the first time. She is in a nursing home & just got moved to a new room so we were glad we waited to visit her in her new room. She was so excited to see all of us & we had a great visit with her & she held Will the entire time we were there.

Alabama State Fair
Last Wednesday Brad, Katelyn, Will, Gramps, Becca, Steven, & I went to the State Fair. There were a lot of the same rides I remember riding as a kid & it was so much fun watching Katelyn take it all in. She really didn't know what to think about it all but we had been telling her for a few days we were going & that is all she has talked about. We were suppose to go on Sunday but the rain kept us from going. Brad was telling her there would be monkey's riding dogs there & that stuck in her head. If anyone heard Rick & Bubba the day they were talking about "monkey's riding dogs" you would know how funny it sounded when she was saying it. I wanted to ride several of the rides there because it has been years since I have done it but the fact that I just had a baby kept me from doing it, maybe next year. our first stop was the petting zoo which Katelyn loved until the camel came up & started eating the food out of her cup. The camel was the biggest animal out there & he knew it, she was scared of him after that. My favorite was the miniature donkey, so cute, but I didn't get a picture of it. Katelyn loves the goats & tells her daddy several times a week that she wants him to buy her a goat, I don't think so!
Before we left Katelyn looked at me & said "mommy I didn't see monkey's riding dogs", it was too funny!
